Instruction by Boston's own Step Brother Taqwa; the Instructor who gave you James (Happy Feet) Brown, The Award Winning TRUE CHI-STEPPER DEMO DANCE TROUPE, and more of Greater Boston's most colorful Steppers.
TRUE CHI STEPPER 101, STRUCTURED CURRICULUM: 90 minutes of clinical instruction, followed by 30 minutes practice session, designed to have the average student stepping with universal proficiency in 8 weeks. For best results, it's best to attend all 8 classes, and notebooks are highly encouraged. This a class is for new and beginner level Steppers, and those who understand that basic foundation can always use refinement to excel in the dance.
FOUNDATION RULES OF PROPER CLASS ETIQUETTE:
1. PLEASE BE ON TIME: Class begins Promptly @ 3 pm Punctuality is a gesture of respect (No "CP time" please!)
2. SPIRIT OF A STUDENT: Adhere to the in-class instruction and correction by the Instructor and/or His designee, and the finished product of your dance will be universal. (The humble calf drinks the most milk.)
3. STICK TO THE CURRICULUM: There will be no deviation from the curriculum. For those desiring special instructions not included in this 101 curriculum. private lessons are available by appointment.
4. RESPECT FOR INSTRUCTOR AND CLASSMATES IS A MUST: While class is in session, sidebar conversations are a source of distraction and should be had outside the dance studio.
By attending this class, it is understood that you have read, understand, and agree to the rules of etiquette, you are fit for vigorous exercise, you and hold Steppin In The Bean, and Saint Mary's Episcopal Church blameless for any resulting injury that may occur.
