Partner Meditation asks, “What will happen if we cultivate mindful awareness of our experience and then make contact with another person?” This meditation always includes a period of individual mindfulness meditation with instruction. Then, the meditation will continue while you make some kind of simple contact with another person in the group. Examples might be placing your hands together or making eye contact. Members are not required to bring their own partner. Participation in any activity can be retracted at any time.
Contact Improvisation is an interactive exploration of relationship through dance. An unstructured movement meditation with others. All levels and bodies welcome, though this will be a dance jam rather than a class.
