Erlang is a functional programming language that lets you easily develop distributed, fault-tolerant, soft real-time, non-stop applications.
Created in the Ericsson Computer Science Laboratory in Stockholm, Sweden, Erlang is now widely used within industries such as banking & finance, telecom, gaming, online gambling & betting.
The group is open to Erlang Architects, Programmers, Project Managers, Software and Platform Innovators, and existing Erlang users as well as Erlang newbies and anyone interested in Erlang and its ecosystem.
