Topic 1: Moving from Legacy Middleware to Kafka on Kubernetes at Ica

Getting started using a lean scope with clear value to drive implementation toward a competitive vision for supporting retail services. This is a technical talk on implementation of Kafka and integration technologies on Azure AKS covering hands-on lessons learned.

Topic 2: Best Practices for Middleware and Integration Architecture Modernization

What are important considerations when modernizing middleware and moving towards serverless and/or cloud native integration architectures? How can we make the most of flexible technologies such as Camel K, Kafka, Quarkus and OpenShift. Claus is working as project lead on Apache Camel and has extensive experience from open source product development.

Topic 3: Kubernetes the Hard Way to Managed @ Scania!

At Scania we have been on an exciting 2 year journey since adopting Kubernetes. In this talk we will share our experiences from this journey which started at implementing “Kubernetes the hard way”, to a more managed set up and eventually moving to EKS, a fully managed Kubernetes service. We will be discussing the pros and cons of each step and the factors contributing to the choices we made.
