California Coastal Cleanup

Each year, hundreds of volunteers join together to remove trash and recyclables from watersheds throughout San Joaquin County. We have pulled appliances, cigarette butts, beverage cans, baby diapers, tires, furniture, and more from the rivers and streams. Pollutants such as these make for an unhealthy environment for everyone. Come out on the third Saturday of September and take part in a state-wide effort to clean our rivers, streams, and coastline.

Stockton Area Atheists and Freethinkers are meeting at Lodi Lake to make a difference!

To participate, each person must print and sign this waiver ( (PDF). Bring it with you!

When you arrive, text David at[masked] for the group's location if you can't find us. Please don't be any later than 8:15 AM.

Helpful Tips

Drink plenty of fluids! Bring sunscreen, a hat and wear comfortable shoes. An adult should supervise children at all times. Be careful near levees. DO NOT attempt to remove dangerous or heavy items yourself. Carpooling

Use the space below to discuss carpooling, and maybe some lunch when we're done.
