What role-playing games have you played? If you haven't played any, that's no problem! We love playing with new folks.

By this point, I have played A LOT of RPGs. Some of my favorites include Apocalypse World and its hacks (most notably Monsterhearts, Monster of the Week, and Urban Shadows) as well as Savage Worlds and its various settings, and the Gumshoe system games. Games I have played in this meet-up include Witness the Murder of Your Father and Be Ashamed Young Prince, Ghost/Echo, Shooting the Moon, Polaris, While The World Ends, Metrofinal, My Daughter the Queen of France, How We Came to Live Here, Shock, Microscope, Kingdom, Our Last Best Hope, Montsegur 1244, Abnormal, The Dreaming Crucible, Annaliese, Life on Mars, Hot Guys Making Out, The Final Voyage of The Selene, The Final Girl, Fiasco, Geiger Counter, Witch: The Road to Lindisfarne, and Protocol. I have also had the pleasure of playtesting some cool games.

How did you hear about us?

I did a Google search.

I am an avid reader and writer who did play-by-post or play-by-e-mail RPs for years before dipping my toes in to this. So glad that I found this! I am looking forward to meeting new people and learning about cool new games.

What Dani L. is saying about this Meetup Group

The other reviews say it well- the members are indeed friendly and welcoming. There is no steep learning curve where the games are involved so never having played before won't stop you from being able to have a great time building a story. I have found myself challenged in an awesome way. It's a great way to build and stretch your creative muscles and imagination as it were. :) I've attended a few meetups so far and will definitely be back for more!
