"Casting The Audience" will trace the evolution of Woodshed Collective (http://www.woodshedcollective.com/) as a means to explore what is required of immersive work - both in form and process. As the company's productions have taken different forms and inhabited different spaces, we have been forced to confront all the ways and all the battlefields upon which immersive work comes alive or falls short. The presentation will use the company's own work as a case study to explore these questions and the working rules we try to make work by.
