‘Umbrella Sword’ is a multiplatform transmedia experience that tells the story of genius software developer, Martin Stitch, and his search for his missing wife. Drawn into a mysterious world of secret societies, fringe technology, kidnapping and murder, Martin must follow the clues left for him by a shadowy figure known only as ‘Standish.’ The mystery begins at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-c1hVinccY&feature=player_detailpage with a newscast reporting on the ransacking of corporation AT-Revision Mobile and the seemingly unrelated disappearance of Martin and Susan Stitch. The game continues to unravel in an interactive thriller that spans a vast, interconnected network of secret websites, coded messages, cryptic phone and text messages and ground breaking mobile apps. It is a fully immersive, online conspiracy that allows audiences to become part of the story while helping the lead character accomplish his deadly mission.
The ‘Umbrella Sword’ experience is completely powered by ‘Galahad,’ the first and only turnkey platform that allows content owners and providers to preload and run entire story-worlds and campaigns from a single, centralized hub, including online and mobile content, gaming, social media and e-commerce extensions. ‘Galahad’ was created by The Shadow Gang to allow content creators, distributors and brands to more powerfully connect with audiences while simultaneously expanding revenue potential. The platform simplifies the management and distribution of original media with custom-built tools that engage fans across multiple media platforms.

Galahad was first prototyped for The Shadow Gang’s ground-breaking and successful multiplatform campaign ‘GoBZRK’ in 2011 and was used to cultivate audiences and drive pre-sale buzz for the global book launch of BZRK, written by best-selling author Michael Grant. The Shadow Gang created original content from the ground-up and took audiences through an immersive and compelling storylines that unfolded across multiple touch points including websites, comic books, social media, a 3D iOS and Android game as well as many other interactive experiences. Due to the success of the digital experience, Sony Pictures purchased the film rights in 2012 for Sam Raimi and Josh Donen. The film is currently in development.
