ScreenUps are live events for video professionals to connect, watch amazing short-form films and gain insights from innovators in video storytelling worldwide.
Hosted by Storyhunter, the premier network for video production in over 170 countries, Screenups began in Dumbo, Brooklyn in 2012 by a group of creative directors, filmmakers and journalists seeking to break the silos in media and advertising. It's a time for like-minded video storytellers to learn each other and share experiences.
If you have a video or filmmaker we should showcase, nominate them here!
If you are a production company, media company, agency or event space, bar or restaurant, submit to become a ScreenUp host here.
Past presenters include senior producers from National Geographic, AJ+, MSNBC, Discovery Digital, The New York Times, including leading creative agencies, filmmakers and production companies. The film selection has no geographic boundaries with filmmakers often joining via video chat to from the farthest reaches of the planet. Videos are anywhere from 1-15 minutes long.
At a typical ScreenUp, there will be time for networking, a quick screening and Q&As with filmmakers to learn about the video production process, innovative projects and relevant issues in the industry.
