What we're about

Strategies For Success is all about seeing someone’s passion, encouraging them to seize the opportunity to better understand the possibilities through learning, which helps everyone, whether it be in their business, career, transitions or life skills.

Rather than exclusion, we promote inclusion. We're cooperative, not competitive. We believe in collaboration and strategic partnering so it is a win-win for all. The business owner, the large corporations, prime contractors, forms of the government and most importantly...the people, our clients!

Please join us by attending one event, or all. We host Women's Table Talk, DBA2Dollars, New Vision and Business Plans for Right Brains. Go to our website for details, registration and/or payment when required.

Women's Table Talk Monthly Networking Sharing Passion & Purpose

This month's topic is: Knowing who you're selling to.... a Lion, Beaver, Otter or a Golden Retriever! When it comes to personality profiles, most have heard of Myers- Briggs, Ned Herrmann’s Whole Brain, Galen’s four temperaments, DiSC assessment, and the Keirsey Temperament Sorter. One of the lesser-known profiles, but just as insightful, was developed by Dr. Gary Smalley and Dr. John Trent. They base their personalities around animal characteristics. Not only are these entertaining but they are very easy for children to grasp as well. My wife and I often find ourselves saying, “that person sure is a ‘beaver,'” or “you’re such a ‘lion- otter.'” While these personality types are certainly broad categories, I find them very easy to remember and communicate. This is extremely beneficial when dealing with family members, employees, and/or people in general. Knowing their temperaments can make the home, work environment, meetings, and projects run much smoother. Strategies For Success is the home of the Women's Table Talk Meeting. It is over 18 years old. It is more than networking, it's a support system for Women in Business, whether they be the business owner or a professional in business. Just starting your business? Let us help you. We also try to help those in transition find the employment they are looking for. This group is completely "inclusive" not "exclusive" to one per industry. Hosted by Strategies For Success, we're all about People, Passion-Encouragement-Opportunity-Possibilities-Learning-Everyone. That's all women in business, any business and all businesses. You are more than welcome to bring your products to sell, samples, friends, and ideas. There is no "official" membership. Again, all can attend. We meet from 8:15am-9:45am. First, we take the time to introduce ourselves, then we have a topic of discussion. After the formal meeting is over, feel free to spend time networking. This is a great opportunity to have your one-on-one meetings! Joy Thompson, retired, owner of Rebar Sales & Service is gracious enough to facilitate each month as she has since 1998! We hope you too will join us....Toni Allison, Chief Bell Ringer
