* Advanced sessions are reserved for those who have attended at least 3 basic sessions as some understanding of your own StrengthsFinder Themes is critical.
Please refer to this page to check for your eligibility.
We often start of the year feeling energised as we set new goals. Many of us are leaders or managers, and spend a lot of time investing into the lives of others and ensuring that things are done well. As time goes by we then find ourselves feeling drained. It is important then to learn about how to keep ourselves renewed, just like how we need to ensure that the fuel tank of our cars are constantly refilled.
Come network with other StrengthsFinder Enthusiasts, as we discover how to keep ourselves constantly renewed (sleeping is not one of the ways!)
We are using the same sound-proof meeting room at Oromo Coffee!
For those who have not been there before, do remember to ask the staff for the meeting room.
How much is this worth?
How much is being at your peak state most of the time worth to you? What impact will this have in your work, studies, and relationships?
What will it cost you to NOT renew yourself resulting in poorer performance and less energy to enjoy what you do?
Many people will pay over $250 to have this personal discovery and apply it in their own lives.
For SFSN members, there will be no charges for attending the meetup, but I'll need your help with only small sum (approx $20-$25 each) in order to make this sustainable.
In order to use the meeting room, we are given the first hour free when we collectively spend a minimum sum of $80 on food and beverages, and the second hour costs us $30.
A cash box will be placed at the corner of the room, where you can contribute towards the F&B cost you have ordered, the cost of the room, materials, and time of the facilitator.
Time is of the essence
This will also mean that since we have a fixed time for the session, we need to both start and end on time to make full use of the booking.
Please reach the cafe at least 15mins before time so that we can get to know each other and order your food and beverages.
We will complete our session in the room at 4pm, after which we can move to the cafe, find some seats and have some deeper conversations together for another hour for those who are keen. This is also to provide those who need to leave at 4pm the opportunity to do so. So if you would like to stay and chat, do remember to set aside some time!
What to bring?
As with most of our meet-ups, please bring:
1. Your StrengthsFinder Reports
2. Writing Materials
In our first Advance Session, we learnt the Strategic Interdependence Model, and how to move towards Interdependence. In the second session, explored what the needs of our talents are and how to balance our strengths in our circumstances.
In this third, and final advance session for the year, we will be exploring about personal renewal, what elements contributes to the renewal process, how our strengths are linked to it, and develop our very own action plan to keep our personal energy tanks constantly filled.
As the group matures, I'd like to be able to hold some more advanced sessions where we skip all the introductions to strengths finders and the talent themes. For members to qualify for the advance sessions, they will need to have attended at least 3 of our meetup sessions. So if you are inviting friends, do get them to register and RSVP so that we can log their RSVPs in the system for the advanced sessions in future!
*RSVPS will be full, please add yourself to the waiting list. If you qualify for the Advance Session, I'll change your RSVP Status to "Yes".
