Join us for a day with Nature. Walk, Meditate, Munch and Chat with Spiritual Friends.
The Heath has got to be my all time favourite London Park and well worth the visit.
One of London's best loved open spaces, Hampstead Heath is a large park covering 790 acres and contains some of the highest points in London, including Parliament Hill, which has one of the best views of London’s skyline.
Hampstead Heath's remarkable range of natural habitats includes wide expanses of grassland and ancient woodland.
Join us for a wonderful walk with friends followed by a Meditation and a Cuppa.
Bring something to munch on as it's hungry work walking :-)
For those of you who like something a little stronger we can then head for refreshments at a local pub and/or a bite to eat.
Here is a link with more information on the Heath
What to bring ?
Bring yourself and a big smile :-)
Check the weather forecast before you leave.
We are walking Rain or Shine.
Hopefully you will need a Sun Hat and not a Brolley ;-)
Something to drink and munch on along the way.
A bit of dosh for a pub/cafe stop later in the day.
How fit do I need to be ?
We will be enjoying an easy walk, more like a leisurely stroll with plenty of time to admire the views and appreciate nature and wildlife.
Where will we meet ?
We will meet at the front of Kenwood House at the top of the stairs that go down to the cafe - see the coffee cup symbol on this map -http://www.hampsteadheath.net/files/OS_HH_Diarymapsection.pdf
I will also update those of you who RSVP with my phone number a day before the event. Please try get to us on time as once we get walking into the Heath, you may not be able to locate us !!
