Hi everyone! This is CJ letting you know that I've scheduled a slew of meetups for December:

The Great Dictator (Friday, December 3rd) The 1940 Charlie Chaplin classic talkie that skewered Hitler, featuring Paulette Goddard.

Nowhere Boy (Monday, December 6th -- look for this to be scheduled soon) The story of a formative time in the life of the young John Lennon. Featuring arthouse favorite Kristen Scott-Thomas and young actor Aaron Johnson as Lennon. See the trailer here:

Midnight Movie: True Stories (Saturday, December 11th) The indie cult film by David Byrne of Talking Heads fame about "a bunch of people in Virgil, Texas." See the trailer here:

Kuroneko (Black Cat) (Thursday, December 16th) This 1968 Japanese film tells the story of two female ghosts seeking revenge against brutal samurai. See the trailer here:

Tiny Furniture (Saturday, December 18th) An acclaimed indie drama about a 20-something recent college grad trying to find her bearings. Watch the trailer here:
Rare Exports -- (look for this to be possibly scheduled soon) The "chilling" discovery of the true, horrifying Santa Claus deep within a mountain. Not for the children. Just watch the trailer and you'll see:

I Love You Philip Morris -- (look for this to be scheduled soon) The controversial new movie with Jim Carrey as an incorrigible con man and Ewan MacGregor as the titular Philip Morris. Not for the children. See the trailer here:

Looking ahead to January, a Midnight Movie double feature of Airplane! and The Naked Gun in honor of the recently deceased comic actor Leslie Nielsen (10 PM and 12 AM, Saturday, January 8th). If you haven't seen either of these, sleep during the day so you can see them -- you're in for a treat.

As always, feel free to submit ideas for meetups that you'd be interested in having on the site. Thanks!
