Ready to get the kids energy out? Join one of our Zumba Classes or our online zoom and move and dance at home. The instructor starts each class with a stretch, dancing Zumba routines following the teacher and playing interactive dance games. The music and movement are all kid appropriate and grandma approved. Forest Park Trail is over 17.7 miles long the trail is made out of asphalt good for walking . Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash. But we will only going to walk the 3.0 miles trails. We will meet up at First of the History Museum@ 5 PM. To start our trail walk. We recommend arriving a little early to make sure you have time to park, leave your belongings safely inside your vehicle, say hello to the group etc... We have a great group of walkers in attendance to talk about training, races and running/walking in general, etc.. When looking at hip hop dance specifically, it is important to note that this is a great aerobic exercise because you must stay moving and active the entire time. As you are moving from pose to pose, your body is taking in more oxygen, transporting it to your muscles and helping you burn calories. Some of the other aerobic benefits of hip-hop dance include: • Helps you lose weight • Lowers your blood pressure • Reduces your stress levels • Provides you with a boost of energy • Anaerobic Benefits – While it is no secret that hip hop dance is wonderful for your aerobically, many people forget about the anaerobic benefits. This type of fitness routine works to strengthen and tone your muscles, while also providing added flexibility to the joints. It is important to keep in mind that you will only experience these anaerobic benefits if you are doing everything correctly and keeping up with the pace of the class. We have added an exit in the back of the studio to keep traffic flowing in one direction and reduce crowding in the hallway.
