This weeks guided meditation by Tara Brach- "A Pause for Presence" 12 minute talk.
Mindfulness Meditation Practice Sitting group meets every Monday night and starts at 6:30 sharp. Our goal is to have a quiet, uninterrupted meeting so please arrive 5-15 minutes early so you don't disturb the meditation by coming in late.
After a short instruction or dharma talk we will practice in silent a 30 minute sitting and 20 minute walking meditation. At the end of meditation we will have a optional, brief discussion period.
If you are new to meditation and would like some instructions let me know in advance by contact me by email through our Meetup site and I'll be happy to arrange a date to meet with you at 6:00pm prior to the meeting.
The emphasis in meditation is on the word "practice." It's a lifelong journey, a process of learning to come back to your clear, unobstructed experience.
