Design a Fruit Tree Guild

Instructors: Jodi Trendler

Begin your edible forest garden with a fruit tree guild this fall. Imagine harvesting apples, pears, peaches, apricots, nectarines, and plums from your own yard. In this class you will learn how guilds reduce the work you have to do and support a healthy mini-ecosystem. With resources provided and instructor guidance, you will complete a fruit tree guild design for your own property.

A handout will be provided listing nurseries that sell quality dwarf/semi-dwarf fruit trees and instructions for planting your fruit tree.

Cost: $10 (cash or check at door), Free for TRI Co-op members

Very interesting and informative class! Michelle was able to address the many questions from a diverse group. Already a perennial flower gardener, now have knowledge to develop a Fruit Tree Guild. Energized to develop my yard!

Great Job Presenting, Michelle! You did an Amazing job conveying a subject that can easily become overwhelming! I brought my stubborn buddy who I've been trying to slowly convert into the world of Permaculture. I think your presentation has officially sold him. :-)
