Ride to SAVE lives 2018
SAVE = Suicide Awareness Voices of Education with the mission "To prevent suicide through public awareness and education, reduce stigma and serve as a resource to those touched by suicide." My friend is the National Outreach Director and Event Coordinator; and I have done volunteer work with SAVE on-and-off for about 10 years. This year is their 13th annual fundraiser ride in the East Metro. For 2019, I intend on starting a West Metro ride. My friend will be ecstatic if I can bring in a bunch of SMRPs to ride for this great cause. Last year, they had 100+ riders. Info is at these two sites: https://save.org/event/ride-save-lives-east-metro-2017/ https://save.donordrive.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=donorDrive.event&eventID=709 Registration is a $20 donation to SAVE. You can either register in advance on the links above -or- register the morning of the ride. The Route is tentatively... Start: Stadium Bar & Grill; 3600 Hoffman Rd, White Bear Lake (651)[masked] Morning Stop: Sal’s Angus Grill; 12010 Keystone Ave N, Stillwater, MN 55082 (651)[masked] Lunch Stop: Tippy Canoe; 1020 N Cascade St, Osceola, WI 54020 (715)[masked] Afternoon Stop: Brookside Bar & Grill; 140 Judd St, Marine On Saint Croix, MN 55047 (651)[masked] End: Stadium Bar & Grill; 3600 Hoffman Rd, White Bear Lake (651)[masked] After the ride, they have food and a raffle where you can buy tickets and win prizes. I've posted the tentative ride map in the photos.

What we're about

Look up Suburbanite at http://www.urbandictionary.com and if you feel at least one of the points fit your lifestyle then keep on reading!

I am a SMRP (pronounced as "Smurp" SMRP stands for Suburbanite Motorcycle Riding Person) who would like to hang and ride with other like riders from the Minneapolis, St. Paul area. Maybe this is you?

Our style is less Sons of Anarchy and more Under Armour, so our rides and stops along the way will reflect a new and different biker style. An example ideal ride will be through the country then to some cool micro brewery or sports bar in the 'burbs to break bread and clank glasses before we part ways back to reality.

If you chose to join and help us grow this group as a regular or now-and-then SMRP you won't have to serve as a prospect or "patch in", so join us when you can with no group fees or dues. As a rider you should enjoy traveling at safe highway speeds (cruising), have good equipment and responsible riding habits.

So fellow SMRP please join us today and let's start planning our next ride!
