Hello to all of our members!
Now that autumn is in full swing, we are happy to again be opening the Denver Sufi Center on a Sunday afternoon each month. We hope what we are calling our "library hours" will provide a place of quiet, and an informal time during which one can explore an interest in Sufism and the mystical life. Visitors can choose to read from among the many writings we have on hand, perhaps find a magazine or book to pruchase, talk with us and others who visit, and explore the stirrings of your heart and your questions about Sufism as a spiritual path.
Autumn is a special time of year in Colorado, when the air is warm and soft, and Nature calls us to contemplation, to rejoice in the cycle of Life and to acknowledge the coming challenges and blessings of the winter season. Divine Love expresses itself - as our lives twist and turn, in the midst of football frenzy and blaring partisan rhetoric the Truth is found in our connectedness. We are one, as the seasons of our lives surge and subside.
We wish you happy days of autumn, and look forward to seeing you on October 14. If you can't make it that day, please feel free to give a call - we'd be happy to arrange a visit to the Center when it works for you!
Sufism is a school of Love - offering principles and practices to nurture a person yearning to realize the truth of Divine Unity. This way is one of transformation over time, season upon season. A willing heart remembers God and serves others, nurtured by a spiritual guide. Sufism is a flame of Love, alive throughout the ages.
