Sr Member of Technical Staff (Mobile Handset Application

Working as the Senior Member of Technical Staff, you will
perform technical project work of a moderate scope within a
larger technical project that is within a specific technology
discipline. You will generally be recognized in the company as
a subject matter expert within a specific area. To attain this
technical level, should have worked or be capable of working
independently on projects of moderate complexity, managing
technical issues. Your contribution shall be primarily internal
to the company.

The position is for an experienced software developer within a
small client development team. The individual will be
responsible for design, development, integration test and
production-level support of software across all supported
services and products, but focus initially will be on mobile
handset application development. The position requires the
individual to work in a fast-paced and constantly evolving
environment that spans many different technologies and several
Operating Systems including iPhone, Mac, Android, Blackberry,
Windows Mobile, Windows XP/Vista/7, Linux and Mac. Experience
with Objective C on iPhone and Mac, and/or experience with Java
on Android/BlackBerry are desirable skills

Adaptability is a key prerequisite along with a solid grounding
in the key technologies used within the services supported. A
strong background and proven track record in both development
and lifecycle support of production-level client software is
vital. The position requires strong technical skills,
innovation, good verbal and written communications skills and
an ability to prioritize time to meet both development and
support commitments.

Required Qualifications:
Entry into this title requires Technical Title Plan (TTP) Board
A Ph.D. in an approved field from an accredited university, or
a Master's degree in an approved field from an accredited
university and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or
a Bachelor's degree in an approved field from an accredited
university and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
Development experience with Objective C, Xcode, Eclipse, Java
C/C++ development experience on Windows with Visual Studio 08
Experience with .Net development beneficial
Experience with communications protocols and services
Experience with object-oriented design/dev
