Sunday Assembly HW - Celebrating Silver Sunday - Bringing generations together
October at Sunday Assembly is another chance for us to celebrate life. This time we are also marking (slightly belated) silver sunday, a national event aimed at helping older adults become a part of their communities and live more fully. We shall be taking a look at older stages of life, celebrating aging and enjoying the benefits of an inter-generational community. Join us for an upbeat celebration of life. The morning will be a mix of music, talks, reflections and poems. About us... Sunday Assembly is a secular community based in High Wycombe and everyone of all ages and beliefs is welcome, there will be a chance to meet people and get to know each other better over tea and cake after the Assembly in the Museum cafe. About Sunday Assembly... The Sunday Assembly is a secular congregation that celebrates life. Our motto: live better, help often, wonder more. We are an all age community who are radically inclusive, so no matter what your beliefs are you will be welcome. We have no set texts so we can make use of wisdom from all sources. - Has no deity. We don’t do supernatural but we also won’t tell you you’re wrong if you do. - Is radically inclusive. Everyone is welcome, regardless of their beliefs - This is a place of love that is open and accepting. - Is free to attend, not-for-profit and volunteer run.
