Sunday Assembly Nashville is a secular congregation that celebrates life! This monthly event is like a variety show with pop sing-alongs and is designed to get us to laugh, sing a bit and let our hair down.

On the 9th, David Lyle is host as we explore the theme of Listening. We'll hear from Dr. Tyrone Wells about street epistemology, the hobby and discipline of deeply engaging people in conversations that let them dwell on what they believe and why. It's all about listening and learning, not challenging or arguing. Good, yes?

Enjoy great danceable songs with the rocking Unnamed Assembly Band.

We'll hear from our own, amazing Bethany Carter, who is Trying Her Best. Bethany always brings wit and wisdom to her conversations, so I'm really looking forward to that one.

Best of all, get to know other people like you from our area, because life is better when you have a community to share it with!

Don't forget to sign up for the post-event lunch at its separate meet-up. We'd love to see you there. During the lunch, we are going to hold our annual meeting. We will be discussing how things are going with SAN currently, what we have coming up, and what you would like to see our community do. This is also our once-yearly chance to vote to amend the By-laws. Anyone is welcome to propose amendments. If you have any questions about the annual meeting, please contact Brynda Quinn either on meetup or by email at Bryndaquinnathotmail.com.

Free child care in the kids education room from 10:00 a.m. Our team of adult volunteers has created an awesome curriculum of readings and crafts to entertain your kid and help them think about the themes we also focus on in our Assembly service.
