The book for March is Mortality by Christopher Hitchens. We'll talk about death and how we face mortality without the supernatural. How do our views on the afterlife (or lack thereof) inform how we live our lives today? Has disbelief changed our thinking about end-of-life planning? How do we cope with loss without believing we'll meet again?
Bring a snack to share (or don't, no biggie) and/or your beverage of choice. Be forewarned that I have a dog and no matter how hard I try you will probably leave covered in his hair. Park on the street and come in through the side door.
