Sunday Assembly Nashville is a secular congregation that celebrates life! Our monthly event is like a TED talk combined with a variety show with pop sing-alongs. Monthly Assemblies are designed to help you live your best life through inspiring and challenging talks while giving you an opportunity to laugh, sing a bit, and let your hair down.

On the 11th, Josh Brown is our host as we explore learning from the past. Our speaker will be Dr. Thomas McGinn, professor of law and history at Vanderbilt University. His talk will offer a view on interpretation of ancient law contrasted against modern law, with a focus on the environment, sexual harassment, and slavery.

Enjoy great danceable songs with the rocking Unnamed Assembly Band.

We'll hear a personal story from our own, incredible, Michelle Gilmour, who is Trying Her Best. Michelle’s sparkling personality lights up the room. I’m looking forward to hearing what she’s coming to share.

Best of all, get to know other people like you from our area, because life is better when you have a community to share it with! After each Assembly, we host a potluck lunch. Please join us and meet the community.

Free child care in the kids education room from 10:00 a.m. Our team of adult volunteers has created an awesome curriculum of readings and crafts to entertain your kid and help them think about the themes we also focus on in our Assembly service.
