The purpose of this group is to support each other in developing (and continuing!) our own mindfulness meditation practices and, in a more general sense, to actively build community, one of the core features of Sunday Assembly.

Each week, we have a 30-minute mindfulness meditation session, but it's bookended by lively discussion of our own meditation experiences and topics like self, existence, the nature of intimacy, relationships, and many other things.

**Note about pets and accessibility. Some of the homes we meet in have pets. Currently, there are dogs and/or cats only when we meet at Holly's homes. Generally pets are in another room. Also, most of the private homes we meet in are not fully handicap accessible. If you have specific needs or concerns, please contact Marla D. via Meetup in advance. We will do all that we can to accommodate your needs. **

If you're concerned about not being able to meditate for 30 minutes, please don't let that stop you! You can meditate as much or as little as you want during the 30 minutes and then just quietly daydream until time is up and we'll never be the wiser. :)
