I am a recent transplant from Los Angeles where I was involved in numerous Mastermind Groups. I am taking what I have learned from them and applying that knowledge to a Mastermind Group here in Las Vegas that will last for about six months.
I am looking for (8) serious, no nonsense entrepreneurs or small business owners who are stuck growing their business. I find that a total of (8) is the magic number for a Mastermind Group of this type. This group is intended for established business owners. It is not intended for start-ups.
This is NOT a networking event. This is a platform for a group of people to bond, share, support and expand together in a safe and confidential environment.
The group will meet on various Sunday nights (frequency depending on our schedules) from 7PM to 9PM for 14 sessions. I find that, as an entrepreneur with a busy weeknight schedule, Sunday night seems to be the best time for a mastermind. I would like each participant to agree to attend on a recurring basis so relationships and trust within the group are established. This Meetup is not intended for participants who come and go when they feel like it. Again, the frequency of the meet-ups will be determined by our schedules. I see us meeting about twice a month for six to seven months.
The group will meet at my home near Flamingo and Eastern. I live with my partner Joe so you will be entering a gay household. The home is pet and smoke free. No restaurants with noisy surroundings. No menu, waiter or bill distractions. Just peace and quiet so we can focus. Eat dinner before you come and enjoy a relaxed space where we can mastermind together. Attire will be business casual.
This Meetup will be a beta test for a program called "Shattering Your Financial Glass Ceiling" which I plan to sell in the near future. There is no cost involved except for materials (about $45 for the entire program). Each meeting will last about 2 hours. The first hour will be run like a traditional Mastermind: participants will be given an allotted time slot to talk about their week. Topics will include goal setting, successes and failures, and brainstorming to problem solve. Each participant will be assigned an accountability partner to help them get through the tough times between meetings.
The second hour will include a group exercise or meditation to explore and negate subconscious negative beliefs around why your business is not growing. Exercises may include modalities I am licensed in. These include hypnosis, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT; Tapping), Matrix Reimprinting and NLP. There will be homework between meetings which may include reading or art assignments. I plan to kick the meetup off by having us read Napoleon Hill's "Think and Grow Rich" one chapter per week and completing the weekly assignments.
This Meetup is not open to everyone. You must apply to be accepted. I do not want more than one participant per occupation (for example, we will not have two real estate agents).
The application process consists of two steps. First, please fill out the (5) attached questions. If it seems like you will be a good fit I will contact you to set up an IN PERSON meeting to further discuss the program. This meeting must be IN PERSON. Not on the phone or via Skype. It would only last about 15 minutes at a mutually agreed upon time and location (like a Starbucks). I have had issues with participants signing up for free events in the past and then not showing up. I feel that if we meet in advance I know you are serious about this group and the chances of you showing up are greater once a personal connection has been established. This way I know I have eight committed business owners who will hit the ground running with the first meeting. I know this may sound a bit extreme but it has worked effectively in the past.
