Sunday Assembly Boston VI is this Sunday! Join us for a little over an hour of live music, singing, laughing, community, interesting speakers, and tea & cake! Best of all - everyone's welcome, and it's all free!
This month, our speaker is member John McCargar! He says: "Once upon a time I spent a year pouring over the summary of sociological research on the topic of altruism. When I emerged, I realized that what makes people good is a lot more complicated and has a lot less to do with religious belief than I originally thought. I realized that every aspect of my life, from my parents, to television and video games, to my teachers, preachers, councilors and coaches contributed to my world view and helped shape why I generally choose to help other people given the opportunity. Through personal anecdotes I hope to show how I accidentally stumbled into a healthy moral compass, but also point out opportunities for us to teach our kids how be good people without using fear or white lies to justify everyday kindness. "
If you're feeling extra generous and would like to make a donation in any amount for your ticket, please visit out Eventbrite page for more details!
