Organizer since:

December 28, 2008

Our book discussions are normally held in the afternoon on the second Sunday of each month. Are you usually available then?

We would like to maintain a core group of regulars. Can you commit to attending discussions a MINIMUM of once every 3 months?

What special mystery activities appeal to you most? [E.g. mystery dinner parties, game nights, film nights, plays, etc.]

Murder Mystery Dinner Parties; film nights; and game nights.

Who are your favorite CLASSIC mystery authors?

Dorothy Sayers, Arthur Conan Doyle, and Agatha Christie. Martha Grimes & P.D. James are my favorite contemporary mystery authors.

Why did you join this group?

To share my love of the intellectual challenge of finding out 'whodunit.'

I love the classics: Holmes' intellectual pyrotechnics; Wimsey's insouciance; Nick & Nora's repartée; Poirot's prissy egotism. Plus newcomers: Melrose Plant & Richard Jury. Funniest line: "The cheese was so old the mites were semaphoring for help."
