ABOUT THE HIKE: This is a lovely, relaxed, beginner walk of 6 miles. The Arboretum is beautifully kept botanical garden with ponds and streams and examples of multiple environments. Craig park has rolling hills, mature trees for shade, creeks and a 3 acre lake. Lots of wildlife to observe. It is a very photogenic park. Bring water and comfortable shoes. The path is mostly concrete but we will be taking a less traveled dirt road to the top of the dam for part of the hike. The hike is not dog friendly. Once we have finished the park , we will walk the short distance back to the Arboretum parking lot. There is a requested DONATION of $2 for the arboretum. If you wish to contribute please bring the correct amount. DRIVING DIRECTIONS: From the 57 Freeway... take the Yorba Linda Blvd exit turning west towards the University.. turn left on Associated Rd (first street) into the parking lot. Once you turn on associated into the university parking lot, the free parking for the Arboretum is immediately on the left. We will meetup at the entrance to the Arboretum..
