ABOUT THE HIKE: This is a beginner hike on the mostly flat Jeffrey Open Space Trail in Irvine. We will meet in front of the Cypress Village Community Center. We hike out and back on the same trail so the distance and pace can vary depending on your hiking ability. The total hike time can be from one to two hours. This is a opportunity for anyone interested in walking/hiking, being outdoors, and meeting new friends. The secret to staying healthy is to stay active, with walking/hiking being one of the safest, easiest and least expensive ways to accomplish that. Please join us!
ADDITIONAL NOTES: Restrooms are available at the trailhead parking area and along the trail. The hike is dog friendly, if leashed and friendly. Regular walking shoes, not hiking boots, are appropriate as this is a mostly flat, paved trail.
