Every time a Meetup Group Organizer sends an e-mail for any group people freak out over "all the emails they get" from the responses. Get over it or change your notification settings within Meetup (app or website). The way the emails work (if you just look at them instead of blindly whining) is that they are sent to a Distribution List that includes all members of that Meetup group that are set up for that type of notification. When ANYONE replies it goes to everyone. No one is "replying to all." Again, if you don't like the emails change your settings or delete the emails like you delete spam. Sending more emails complaining about it doesn't solve anything especially when you don't know what you're talking about. 

The people that want to respond SHOULD reach out to the person directly through the Meetup app instead of riling up all the crybabies. That'd help some.
