What's everyone eating for breakfast? I'm thinking of making a waffle.

To all of you that have chastised us for asking to be removed from the list:

- Why do no other meetups have this problem? If this was a mistake on the organizers' part, they should be the one correcting it. We shouldn't have to take the time out of our busy lives to fix the consequences of your error.

- Your instructions to unsubscribe from the email lists get buried under the hundreds of emails of people wanting to be removed. I don't want to, don't have time to, and shouldn't have to dig through all of those.

- Why don't you guys just start up another email thread only with the people that want to be part of it? Or just communicate directly on Meetup? Easy solution. If you organizers think that's too much effort, remember that you guys are the ones that screwed up so you should be the one spending time to fix it.

If this doesn't stop soon I will be removing myself from this Meetup, and so will a lot of other people.

All of you who live out of state and no longer participate regularly in hiking or other Meetups in California could avoid email notifications from active members if you had taken the time to remove yourselves from the lists and groups
