What do you think when you look in the mirror? Do you immediately scan the “problem zones” or do you just smile and say “you look good today”?
Do you start your day by silently criticizing your body? Oh, I'm too fat. I have so many wrinkles. Look at my cellulite! This is what we tell ourselves.
The way we see our bodies has a huge impact on our daily life and our sexuality.
How can you enjoy going to the pool if all you can think about is how you look in that swimsuit?
How can you really relax in bed with your partner if you're worried he or she will see your stretch marks or belly fat?
Let me teach you how to be gentle with yourself.
During this workshop we will meet in a small, intimate circle of women of different ages to talk about our bodies, to feel our bodies and to see ourselves in the mirror. The mirror on the wall and the mirror of other women.
Don't worry, you don't have to get naked or reveal all your insecurities. We will create a safe, confidential space to share and there will be ground rules. You can say as much or as little as you want. Without judgement.
What you will get:
• you will feel happier and lighter when you recognize the negative talk in your own head and learn to transform it into acceptance and self-care
• you'll look at ideal celebrity looks with more distance and follow your own vision of beauty instead
• you will learn from other women what makes you unique and use this knowledge to enhance your personal style
• you will create simple rituals to boost your self-confidence when you have that bad moment when looking in the mirror
• you will feel more confident in bed.
85 CHF to be paid at registration (bank transfer, Paypal or Twint). Refunds are possible if cancelled by 27 September 2019.
Who's the host?
I'm Anka. I'm a sexologist and Certified Sex Coach ™ . I'm also a mom and I'm turning 40 soon. My body has changed so much in the past decade. I've gained weight, lost weight, my breasts look different and my belly is not flat.
And yet when I look at myself in the mirror, I see a goddess. A symbol of womanhood and fertility. A sexy woman.
Do I feel great in my body all the time? Hell no! But I've learned how to listen to my inner critic and how to talk to him. I have learned how to be gentle with myself.
On a more professional note, for 3 years I was a host of a popular, nationwide radio show in Poland called "The Good Sex". I've been working in the field of sexuality education and counselling for 18 years. I've been trained as group workshop facilitator.
