KIDS “Mini Jay Race”
We will provide kids age 12 and under with Nipper or Soft paddleboards to use. Course and format will be new this year to make the races more fun for the kids. Mini Jay Racers paddle around three buoys set just a few yards off the beach. Kids collect “Live Like Jay” wristbands every time they pass a buoy. After the paddle course competitors will run through the beach obstacle course (provided by A Day at the Beach Events) then back out onto the water for another lap. This race will be timed and the mini athletes who collect the most bracelets are the Mini jay Race winners! There will be plenty of Lifeguards on hand to keep the kids safe.
