What we're about

The Surfrider Foundation is made up of surfers and non-surfers alike. It is a national non-profit grassroots organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of our world's oceans, waves and beaches. Founded in 1984 by a handful of visionary surfers in Malibu, California, the Surfrider Foundation now maintains over 50,000 members and 80 chapters worldwide. The Jersey Shore Chapter of Surfrider Foundation has been fighting the good fight for beach access, clean water, and an improved coastal areas since the 1990's - our work is supported through tax-deductible contributions made by individuals, companies, and organizations. Join us at our chapter meeting to hear what we are up to and to get involved. You don't have to be a Surfrider member to join us, but we would love it if you would consider joining and supporting our chapter.
