COVID-19 NOTES: We plan to resume meeting in person as soon as possible. In the meantime, there are excellent online meetings. The NAASCA (National Association of Adult Survivors of Child Abuse) has 3 meetings per week posted on their home page at www.naasca.org
If you have any questions or comments, please don't hesitate to contact us.
About this group:
This peer support group is for anyone healing from the trauma of childhood physical, sexual, verbal, emotional, mental, narcissistic, occult, and/or ritual abuse or neglect. Our bi-weekly Meetups are every other Saturday from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM.
Please know that you are not broken and you are not alone. We are here for each other.
One member recently commented, "I had an amazing time and so glad I stepped out of my comfort zone and attended a meetup. I thank all of you for being so kind, loving and supportive towards me. I needed that more than you could ever know."
We use the "Survivor to Thriver" guidebook to help steer us through the recovery process. But, we allow for sharing as needed. Our primary concern is to provide a supportive environment to aid in your recovery and ours. We do our best to make this a safe place to share from our heart, and we invite everyone who attends to listen with care and compassion.
*This group is led by a survivor with no formal education in therapy. We would encourage you to find a therapist if you're not working with one already.
