Birdwatching at Jersey City Reservoir

Jersey City Reservoir Preservation Alliance in collaboration with Sustainable Jersey City has the pleasure of inviting you to a birding walk guided by ornithologist Michael Britt.
Michael Britt is a passionate ornithologist for more than twenty years. His activity includes working as an associate naturalist for New Jersey Audubon Society, Reviewer for eBird, Compiler for the Lower Hudson Christmas Bird Count and authoring numerous writings in the field.
Jersey City Reservoir is a stopover habitat for waterfowl and a range of neotropical and woodland short-distance migrants. We also hope to spot a number of shorebirds, wading birds (herons & egrets) and rails.
Binoculars will be be available at the site.

Please use the entrance pointed on the map (NW, Reservoir Ave at Summit Ave)
This free event inaugurates the Urban Habitats for Wildlife Series, a project coordinated by Sustainable JC.
Because of the site's configuration, the number of participants is limited. Please reserve your spot in time. We would greatly appreciate updating your attendance status in case you will not be able to participate.

Thank you Hillary, I have reedited the map. Now it should point to the Reservoir's NW entrance.

Just fyi--the map that's connected to this page is not the right one--it's pointing to Englewood Cliffs NJ-- not JC...
