Fancy having some fun and widening your social network? Then Sutton Coldfield Socializers is perfect for you. Everyone is welcome regardless of age, ethnicity, religion etc. No age restrictions, apart from being over 18. We host a wide range of events, daytime and evening, based around the Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield and Birmingham City Centre areas. If you’re sociable and enjoy similar company then you’ll fit in well.

Membership details:

To try to keep the group to only active members we charge a modest annual fee to all members. This is just £3 annually and will go towards the administration costs incurred in running the Group. New members will have 14 days to pay their subscription or they will be removed, returning members (ie. people who have been removed previously through non-payment) will get just 7 days to pay. Payments will need to be made to www.paypal.co.uk using the Friends and Family option and reference 07811595581 or in cash at your first event (as long as it is within 14 days of joining). Any excess funds will be used to subsidise the big ticket events such as the Christmas party.

As part of the attempt to attract only members who will be active participants we will automatically reject applications from people who are already in an excessive number of groups and who have shown little or no activity within these groups.

Your profile photo:

To have your membership request accepted for this group, please display a current and clear, full-face photo of yourself as your main profile photo. This is so you can easily be recognised by organisers, event hosts and other members. Pictures of animals, children, groups of people or flowers etc. are not allowed.

Your profile name:

Please check your profile name is unique. Members will have similar forenames which can make it difficult to identify payments for events etc. Easiest way is just add your surname or initial of your surname.

RSVP'ing to events:

Organisers spend a great deal of time putting on events and so please always keep your RSVPs up to date. If you find that you are no longer able to attend an event please update your RSVP and where possible put a note in the comments. At least 24 hours notice would be appreciated. Places are limited at many events so please be mindful that other members may be waiting to take your place. Repeated non-attendance without prior contact will result in exclusion from the Group.

While we already host a wide variety of events we always welcome other suggestions and will encourage and support anyone who is willing to host or to help host events. If this interests you contact one of the organisers or event hosts.
