Did you know Picasso was stillborn? Or that his little sister's death made him almost give up art making?

There is plenty of symbolism in Picasso's work and much is of a sexual nature. We'll learn how to look for and interpret his underlying meanings while we paint in one of his palettes using bright color and flat planes. $6 if you bring your own canvas / paints and brushes, or use mine for $22 - I have a lot of supplies you can choose from. 16" x 20" is the largest size canvas my table easels will hold BTW. Bring your drink of choice, I provide snacks.

If the highway is plowed (thanks Leelanau County plow trucks) you can park in front of the studio along the highway - otherwise park on St. Mary's street in front of the gray ranch house on the left side just around the corner - there is a paved pull off that is spacious.
