The Eight Treasures™ QiGong, was formally organized over 2000 years ago, transmitted by the Ni family through an unbroken succession of 74 generations of Taoist masters. These gentle, non-impact exercises facilitate energy flow and strengthen vitality through a combination of stretching, toning and strengthening movements based on the natural motion of the planets and stars as well as on the simplicity and power of animals and Mother Nature.
QiGong practice activates and guides the smooth flow of energy through the body by use of the breath, simple movement, posture and mental imagery. Related to, but older than Tai Chi, QiGong is generally simpler to learn because the movement sequences are shorter and more repetitious than those of Tai Chi.
Join us for Eight Treasures, a beautiful moving meditation passed down through an unbroken lineage of 38 generations of Taoist masters of the Ni family. Suuz is one of 42 teachers worldwide certified and approved by the family / CHI Health Institute to teach this form.
Suuz also teaches Tai Chi for Health by Dr Paul Lam, very beneficial for balance and health, teaching principles and mechanics of weight shift to use everyday in your functional life tasks. Suuz teaches Yoga and Essentrics too for a well-rounded toolkit to help you move.
