**Howard Schlesinger is a founding principal of Meridian Developmental Partners, and a registered architect with a career devoted to improving the quality of the built environment. For more than a quarter century, he has developed extensive expertise in planning, design and project management. He was a founding partner with Mark C. Rosenberg of CapEnergy, LLC and Site Tech Group Ltd. Prior to joining Mr. Rosenberg, he was founding principal of Schlesinger, Loffredo, Brooks Architects P.C.

Mr. Schlesinger has lectured at the AIA on entrepreneurship in architecture and is a Counsel member of the Urban Land Institute where he has lectured on public financing for redevelopment and reuse projects. He is an officer of the alumni board of the School of Architecture of City College of New York.

***Nathan Sevilla is a partner in the real estate practice of Mayer Brown’s New York office. He routinely represents lenders in complex single asset real estate financing transactions and construction loans, with a specific focus on the hotel, gaming and leisure industry. In addition, Nathan has acted for clients of the firm in the acquisition, disposition and leasing of real property throughout the United States.

****Charles Ruffin’s primary role at Emigrant Mortgage Company is to originate SBA, multifamily, mixed use, office, retail, warehouse, underlying co-op, and SRO loans. Mr. Ruffin also originates 1 to 4 family, condo, and co-op residential loans. Mr. Ruffin has over 15 years of experience originating commercial and residential loans. Before joining Emigrant Mortgage Company Mr. Ruffin was the Managing Director of Davenport Capital Markets. Mr. Ruffin’s role at Davenport Capital Markets focused on originating permanent, bridge and mezzanine commercial loans for various property types. Previous to Davenport Capital Markets Mr. Ruffin was a Client Manager in the Commercial Term Lending division of J.P Morgan Chase. While at J.P Morgan Chase Mr. Ruffin focused on originating multifamily and mixed use commercial loans. Mr. Ruffin holds a JD/MBA and a NY Real Estate Broker’s License.
