Wednesdays 6:30p-7:30p 6-week Beginner/Novice Swing Dance Series.  You'll learn the FUNdamentals of Swing Dance. Whether you call it Jitterbug, East Coast Swing or Lindy Hop, it all swings! The dance which has keep people on their toes for over a century!
Best thing, you'll be able to hit the dance floor right away, and have way too much fun.
No experience necessary. No partner required.

Start off with learning and reviewing the basic patterns of swing and get started on the right foot.  Then you'll continue to learn several new moves, new patterns, and new combinations to keep your dance bag-o-tricks growing. Swing into some fun and you'll be ready to tear up the dance floor in no time!

6-COUNT EAST COAST SWING: Open/Closed Positions. Passbys. Transitions to Open. Sugar Push. Footwork, Drapes, Cuddles, Dbl spins. Review.

8-COUNT LINDY HOP & SWINGOUT: Outside Turn, InsideTurn, Free Spin, Passbys. Lindy Circle. Transitions to Open. Possibly Dips & Tricks.

CLOTHING: Wear comfy clothes. T-Shirt, shorts, slacks, skirt, etc. Bring extra TShirt and towel. in case.

SHOES: Bring flat, non-treaded shoes. Like dress shoes, flats, leather-bottomed shoes. The "slippery-er" the better. No gym shoes. If you don't have slippery shoes, you can wear socks over your shoes.
