Please join us for some thought provoking conversation with interesting people keen on design thinking. July is B Corp month... so this month we're talking about design thinking in B Corps. We'll have short talks from leaders of three certified B Corps followed by a panel.
MEET THE SPEAKERS/PANEL
**Cheryll Olmos & Lucas Olmos - Co-founders & Director at Musketeers**
Cheryll & Lucas have backgrounds in psychology and business, and 30 years combined experience working with board, executive and management teams across the not for profit, government and corporate sectors. Using design thinking concepts, they enjoy collaborating and partnering with organisations to transform and improve the key employee journey milestones so that these are more effective, and people centred.
**Simon Wright - Sample Coffee Roasters**
Simon is a digital product designer and unashamed coffee nerd. He’s worked with and in corporates, government teams and startups. On the side, he’s a part of the team at Sample Coffee Roasters, a freshly certified B Corp, who source, roast and share responsibly produced coffee from around the world in their two cafes and through their online subscriptions and store. Find out how a local Sydney coffee roaster approached moving from a small Surry hills cafe to offering a subscription coffee delivery business (and a second cafe). With a focus on lessons learned, Simon will walk through how design played a part in all the decisions along the way.
**Natasha Akib - Director of Stories for Impact at Digital Storytellers**
Natasha is a digital producer who believes in individuals and communities telling their own stories. She specialises in using the skills of film production, media and marketing for purpose-driven organisations and is responsible for developing, producing and facilitating Stories for Impact – Digital Storytellers’ educational workshops, tools and resources. Stories for Impact has supported thousands of storytellers from around the world to find, make, edit and share their own video stories using smartphones and affordable technology, for fundraising, advocacy, community engagement and more.
**Ben Pecotich - Founder/Design & Innovation Director at Dynamic4**
