• AI in video games: From Visual to Emotional Fidelity

    Wargaming Syndey

From large crowds to small reactions, AI is one of the driving forces in the background of every game we play. When combined with great animation and realistic emotional responses they bring life to game worlds and create characters we want to spend time with. When done wrong though… Bringing a wealth of experience gained in the creation of some of our favourite AAA experiences Liko-Paul will discuss the impact both good and bad AI can bring to games as well as how combining intelligent AI with realistic reactions and animations can result in a better experience for the player. ______________________________________________________________________________________ Liko-Paul Pinsonnault is a Product Director at Wargaming Sydney where he focuses on game technologies and game development across multiple studios.
