Socialite - Darren Wood, Senior Technologist (MongoDB, Inc)
Socialite is a reference architecture and open source Java implementation of a scalable social feed service built on DropWizard (http://dropwizard.codahale.com/) and MongoDB (http://www.mongodb.com/learn/mongodb-architecture). It includes components for managing and storing the user follower graph, pluggable feed fanout models, and flexible content support.
This presentation will highlight some of the key design aspects of building a social feed on MongoDB and include a detailed walkthrough of the data model design.
