Synapsistic (formerly NeuroGeeks) hosts talks on brain and mind-related topics from experts and students in the field, to contribute to a community of brain enthusiasts in Portland. We also encourage attending other neuroscience events in the area together. We welcome people from all different educational levels and backgrounds. Whether you are simply interested or curious about the brain; or if you are a student, professor, or scientist of a related field (psychology, sociology, neuroscience, biology, chemistry, education, etc.); all are welcome! Our meetups are fun and casual and involve a mutual interest in brain sciences.
