Description: I am sure we have all heard phrases like: "I'm a Developer i don't want to test" "We got all our stories nearly 'Done' this sprint "Why are there so many 'bugs'" "Why is test so slow" During this short experiential workshop we will explore standard team roles. Starting to feel what they feel, What is easy about what they do and what is hard? How can the different roles work together to share the load? You will leave the session with a new coaching tool to use with your team along with a new level of understanding for the daily challenges of a Developer and Tester. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Talk 2: Tom Hoyland Building and Growing an Agile Team Description: How would you build a team from scratch? What techniques would you use? What metrics should you respond to? In this talk you’ll see how we assembled a team, embedded agile values, a DevOps mindset and a clear purpose to create a squad with an infectious, high performing culture. We’ll demonstrate the coaching and visualisation techniques we used to reduce batch size and improve quality. You’ll see how to reveal ‘hidden’ product backlogs, make the invisible visible, and use domain driven design, theory of constraints and language to optimise team resilience. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Speakers Bios: John Barratt John is a Certified Enterprise Coach who loves seeing individuals, teams and organisations become the best they can be.
