I'm sorry but some things suddenly came up and I couldn't make last Sunday. Sounds like an interesting meeting.

I hope that everyone had a relaxing weekend! I'm on a bit of a high right now after spending both Saturday and Sunday with you all!  Our second meeting for the group was a blast today, and I posted the pictures of us earlier today.  Some of the TShakes today had questions on project Hercules and TEDxHouston, I highly suggest everyone to check out the discussions page, and please post your ideas - Drew the ideas that you came up during our meeting today were brilliant!

Ok, so on to our next meeting...I have two special guests that will be giving us a 15 mins talk in November. The theme will be on the word "Human". We will have Mr. Luis Thomason politician/humanitarian talk about "humanity" in politics, and Dr. Dhivya Regunathan talk about the "human" aspect of the emotionalups and downs of surgery. After hearing a little of what they want to present to the TShakes today, I am confident that you all will be moved and inspired as I have! I hope that you all will try to come to the next is going to be a big treat!

On a side note, I wanted to thank you all for joining and participating in this group. It is motivating for me to find people that truly want to make a difference!
