TEDxABQ Salon | Community Engagement

How can we make Albuquerque better together?

To improve our community we need cross-pollination, collaboration across sectors, and strong citizen participation. We need to share our unique skills and interests, mobilize volunteers, and foster relationships to strengthen our community and make more powerful impacts.

For the April TEDxABQSalon, we are bringing together community organizers, non-profit leaders and innovators from a range of communities in Albuquerque—art, tech, bike, agriculture, urbanism, social justice, and more—to share their ideas and efforts and to inspire new interest, participation, and collaboration with one another and with you. TED is about ideas worth spreading. This salon is about taking our local ideas and challenging us to become a part of their action. Bring your business cards and come to connect.

Last night's meeting was a great community happening! I am looking forward to co-creating some collective impact on an issue that needs a new solution to effect positive change here in Albuquerque - and TEDxABQ last night gave me great hope that collective change is really possible! Thanks to the staff and volunteers for co-creating in only three weeks a very informative and connective experience.

Is there a paid ticket needed for this? I responded to the invitation but it didn't take me to a registration page - so now I am wondering.

Did my RSVP guarantee me a ticket? I went to the site to get one and they are sold out.

      March 28, 2014

    • Ellen G.

Barbara, where did you see the note about tickets sold out? That is an error and I'd like to fix it, but I don't see it.

The ticket situation is confusing. I made a reservation but I can't figure out if it actually worked to hold me a spot . Barbara
