EFT stands for: (Emotional Freedom Technique)
Learn about this healing technique and how it's helped others! This is something simple you will learn how to do on yourself with fast results without having to see a practitioner.

EFT is a powerful self-help method based on research showing that emotional trauma contributes greatly to disease. Clinical trials have shown that EFT is able to rapidly reduce the emotional impact of memories and incidents that trigger emotional distress. Once the distress is reduced or removed, the body can often rebalance itself and accelerate healing.
EFT uses elements of Cognitive Therapy and Exposure Therapy, and combines them with Acupressure, in the form of fingertip tapping on 12 acupuncture points. Over 20 clinical trials published in peer-reviewed medical and psychology journals have demonstrated that EFT is effective for phobias, anxiety, depression, post traumatic stress disorder, pain, and other problems.
Some 10 million people worldwide have tried EFT including self-help pioneers Wayne Dyer and Louise Hay.

Event: 1 1/2 - 2 hours
Introduction: Grace will give a 30 to 45 minute introduction to EFT. You will learn the tapping points on the body and the key phrases used to help set up your own individual session.
Volunteers: Individuals will be able to volunteer to help demonstrate the process of tapping.
Group Session: Grace will guide the class through a general tapping session.
Q & A: People can ask general questions about EFT.
Everyone will receive a handout to reinforce the material and gain a basic understanding of how to use EFT.
Grace Schumacher is a retired Respiratory Therapist. She has been practicing and teaching EFT for more than 5 years. Grace is a Reiki Master and Master Instructor of Integrated Energy Therapy(IET). She has been teaching and practicing different healing modalities for almost 20 years.
Venue: We will be meeting at Mindful Body studio in Pompton Lakes, NJ. Mindful Body LLC is a Health and Wellness Studio offering classes and workshops in Yoga, Meditation, Pilates, Reiki and IET.
Parking: You can park on the street or in the lot behind Pompton Plaza and take the stairs or elevator to street level.
Chairs, yoga mats, and/or cushions to sit on will be provided.
