I just noticed this group from another Meetup post. I'm hoping that I can make it to the next meeting. I've read about the Monroe Institute, but I've never participated. Will it be ok to participate, or do I need prior experience?

So.... Google Monroe Institute and dig in? How does one learn "Focus level jargon"?

I'll write up a few blog posts on this in the next week, thanks for the idea.

I'm glad everyone enjoyed the meeting, I know that I did.

John A - Intention drives so much of life, both in time and out of time. I'd use the focus 15 exercise (2nd track of 3rd cd if memory serves correct) that has a lot of open space to experiment on your own.

Scott, great meetup. Good to meet with everyone too. My experience with the exercise was an acceleration of my usual meditation experience. Body relaxed quickly, felt a pretty deep trance state, and had an amusing series of hypno-pomps (that's what I call them) on the way to Focus 15. What usually takes a long time (if ever to get there) only took a minute or two. I think I need to just work on what I do when I get to No-Time, probably be more clear on the 'intention' part. Thanks for the bringing the DVDs by the way. Have a great day everyone!

Had a great time. Love listening to everyone's experiences and love learning from those who have experienced the Monroe Institute first hand. Looking forward to our next meet up. Have a great February.
